The customer service is inconsistent in quality. Recently, issues have been neglected and we have to constantly call in order to get them fixed. Things are slow as far vas setup goes and many times issues are not resolved after weeks of agony. I don't recommend this product.

The system isn't working as promised. I have tried to get you guys to help me, but everything looks good on your end, so you don't care.
PROS: Most, not all, of the numbers forward and unforward on-time. There is an end to the contract, at some point, so we will be switching. I have social media to tell others to stay away.
CONS: not all of our numbers are forwarded after hours. there are times when we receive an incoming call and it doesn't connect when we answer. voicemails sometimes will show up randomly. one of our handsets isn't working; it sat on the charger all weekend, but is dead. I HATE speaking with your customer service; everything looks good on your end, so no one wants to help me figure out what's wrong. The contract is too long.

David did an excellent job pulling this all together. I think the biggest issue we encountered was having the cables sent with the phones that would not allow us to connect through. Once we replaced those with aftermarket Cat5E it all started working. I felt a disconnect in the sale of the services and support in getting to this point. There was a period of about 2 hours this morning where we were not getting calls back and once we did one team kept passing us to the other. A lot of stock was taken at Net 2 Phone saying we did not have system didn't have internet access. This was not correct as we had comcast ping the system and they indicated they could get only as far as the firewall. We had to send our support team away this morning due to the fire wall not pulling in the correct gateway or being set up to dish out the appropriate type of IP addresses. We could see this corrected around midday. Comcast was working down to the firewall...out system was working up to it. Once David came on board he patiently worked through each issue and worked with me personally for over and hours until everything had come together. He was absolutely awesome. In the future, it is important to delineate that Strategy will not be supported by Net 2 Phone as part of white glove service at the point of sale. As an example it was offering up 192.168.168.168 across the board. That has since been corrected on your end. Thanks, John H. Sale, PE

Today marks the first time that I called net2phone since our office switched providers that I actually felt I received good customer service AND that the problem was fixed in a timely fashion. We'd been dealing with a phone problem since last week 1/19/18 and called several times to try to get the issue resolved. Each time it was something WE needed to do, even though we'd never changed anything to begin with. Before I spoke with Dantley I spoke with a different rep who just couldn't figure out the issue and told me I needed to contact our internal IT department. When I called back and spoke with Dantley he was courteous (a hit or miss when calling Net2Phone), polite and immediately said "oh, well, you're having that problem because of this reason". In less than 10 minutes on the phone he removed the rule that was causing the problem, found another issue I was having, fixed that and we tested the change to make sure everything was working well. If I could be guaranteed to receive the high caliber of assistance I received during my call with Dantley I would be a very satisfied customer.

Just as this survey came out, I was in the process of writing a detailed letter listing all our complaints with Net2Phone . We have lost quite a lot of business at various times when the phone or fax system went down, or when the wrong times were programmed for our time zone, or when old greetings were not changed in a timely matter. I could go on and on but suffice it to say I a wish I had never signed up with Net2Phone. As a matter of fact, I am in the process of requesting release from our contract without penalty - OR a considerable payment for the amount of business lost over the past year due to Net2Phone issues.

We have had issues with the phones going down and then having to be completely re-initialized, which is annoying and time consuming. It is sometimes frustrating to hear the blame game between providers as well - when we call support, they want to say it is a networking issue and then when IT gets on the phone, then it is because the programming has to be resent to each individual phone. Jonathan’s experience and expertise with the N2P product was invaluable, but he never let his vast knowledge of N2P get in the way of listening to my needs or being open to new ideas and configurations. As a direct result, we were able to partner in the planning phases which led to a nearly perfect implementation. Jonathan was available almost 24/7 (I can’t remember a time I did not receive an immediate response even separated by two time-zones) and never failed to deliver on a promise. I cannot imagine what this process would have been without his guidance. I can tell from our conversations this is simply who he is, but as an organization, N2P needs to recognize Jonathan for his extreme dedication to your mission.
